On a cold Saturday morning, one group of primary school students were up early. They were Jem, Bob, Jeff, Brook, Toby and Elvis. When they arrived at the basketball court, they were so worried because it was their first time playing a basketball game. Bob came very early with her mother.
They met up with their coach, Jim. After five minutes, the basketball game started. They were competing against the Wild Cats. Their team was Amazing Dunkers. Jem, Bob, Toby, Jeff, Brook and Elvis were in the court. Their coach taught them some tricks. Bob was the defender and Toby was also defender too. The other team mates were attackers, aiming for the goal. When Bob had the ball, he passed it to Toby. Toby caught the ball and shot a goal. Everyone cheered loudly. The other team had the ball, “pass it to me” shouted the other team’s team mate. When they passed it, Bob snatched the ball out of their hands. “Ding dong” came the bell. It was break, the spectators came to shoot goals. The Dunkers gathered and the coach instructed them what to do. “Ding dong” came the bell. Bob was playing harder than before. A loud cheer came when Jem scored a goal. Brook came and slam dunk the ball into the ring. Suddenly, the other team got a goal when they were too busy talking. The Dunkers began to have stronger defense. After five minutes the game ended.
“Our team won” shouted Jem. They were so happy that they won. The Dunkers gathered and they cheered together. They look forward for another game.
